Primary functions

  • Provide exceptional service to all guests and potential guests by assisting them in a friendly, efficient, courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide valet parking services to safely and efficiently move guest automobiles to a designated parking location while following Company policies and procedures.
  • This function may include assisting with loading and unloading of luggage, providing information in regard to the hotel’s facilities and events, and directions to local attractions.
  • Greet hotel guests according to the location standard.
  • Ensure that you are on time to your duty with clean uniform and well groomed.

  • Treat guest’s cars with respect, and always be cautious while driving.

Responsibilities:

  • Always have a ticket in your hand with serial no & make sure all the tickets are in sequence if there is any difference in the sequence, immediately inform your supervisor.
  • The upper half of the ticket to be attached to the key chain (with the diagram).
  • The lower part of the ticket should be given to the guests& this part of the ticket is considered as retrieval ticket as well.
  • The very bottom piece of the ticket should be placed under the windshield wiper. This part of the ticket serves as a “Tag” for this vehicle.
  •  Always make sure that the guests leave the vehicles key or remote key with you otherwise problem can raise while delivery time.
  • Check to see if the guests have left something behind in the vehicle, such as a wallet on the seat, Mobile Phone, Jewelry, Money etc. Inform the guest about such items immediately and kindly.
Junior Projects Engineer
The Junior Projects Engineer ensures that operational delivery aspects of Infrastructure services of contracts are delivered in an effective, efficient and professional manner ensuring best practice performance to the complete satisfaction of all of our direct and indirect clients.

Primary functions

  • Execute operational delivery aspects of Infrastructure services under Zone contracts ensuring implementation of all relevant Zone policies, local & international industry standards including (EHS & Q, ADM, ADDC, ISO etc.) and best practices
  • Conduct required surveys in all contract areas and produce periodic reports.
  • Update all drawings, documentations as required to reflect actual site conditions.
  • Update client & on-street operations team with any changes as required.
  • Prepare / update AutoCAD as built drawings with all relevant parking Sector, Bay details, PDMs, POF, MSCPs and connected infrastructure & ancillary systems.
  • Be fully familiar with all types of equipment / systems / facilities / roads / infrastructure and localities within the area of operations
  • Coordinate / prepare / execute implementation works with the Programme Manager.
  • Conduct testing & commissioning of all installed systems in coordination with Civil / M & E contractors including risk assessment ensuring site acceptance test is carried out prior to sector launching.
  • Carryout periodic schedule inspections of MSCP infrastructure including all connected services and submit required technical reports to Client / Deputy Contract Manager as required.
  • Be fully aware of scope of works, terms & condition, deliverables & operational limitations of all Zone service contracts of assigned operational area.
  • Development of PM Schedules, Job plans, Method of statements, Safety plans, & life cycle costing of equipment / system connected with infrastructure services.
  • Delivery of maintenance plans/services within allocated times & budget
  • Productions of estimates, proposals, methodologies as required and take part in bidding activities when required
  • Monitoring and reporting on overall progress of work programmes against the plans and forecasts.
  • Production of periodic progress reports as required by the Client / Deputy Contract Manager
  • Execute variation projects when required within allocated budget meeting the schedule time frame and agreed service level agreements
  • Implementation of companies EHS & Q regulations
  • Liaise with clients, end users, suppliers & contractors as required in the execution of Zone service contracts
  • Coordinate / oversee the maintenance activities of all Zone premises including Zone offices
  • Carry out any other appropriate works as assigned time to time
  • Deputize for the Program Manager in his absence and/or when required.
  • Attend client meetings, internal meetings & trainings as required.
  • Guidance and mentoring of all direct reports

Qualifications, experience & skills:

  • Civil  Engineering Degree or equivalent from a recognised university or Engineering College/Institute.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience handling civil engineering infrastructure projects/maintenance activities infrastructure including residential & commercial facilities.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Should be familiar with local & international building/infrastructure services standards related to civil engineering services
  • Should possess a valid UAE driving license
  • Should have good working knowledge of common computer applications including AutoCAD & project planning.
  • Demonstrate good man-management and interpersonal skills

Appointee should have broad in depth theoretical & practical knowledge and experiences in maintaining building civil engineering services, roads & infrastructure and should have extensive knowledge of civil engineering materials required for carpentry, masonry, painting, roofing, asphalt works used in buildings, roads & infrastructure services. He/She shall have good interpersonal skills with good man-management ability to deal with subordinates managing his own staff & contractors and shall be able to work on his/her own initiative. Appointee must be flexible and courteous, customer focused manner and diplomatic approach are essential.

Car Park Technician
The Technician’s role is to maintain and repair the estate of parking equipment so to maximize reliability and income. To liaise with customers and respond to customer care issues in and prompt and friendly manner.

Primary functions

  1. Diagnose software faults using hand held programmer and re-program the equipment by re-setting parameters when necessary.
  2. Carry out checking and testing of the communication equipment including speakers and amplifiers to ensure correct functioning at specified intervals or when directed. Rectify minor faults established during the check-test including replacing speakers, local rewiring, replacing amplifiers and adjusting volume controls.
  3. Carry out diagnostic and electrical testing including mechanical checks of car park equipment at specified intervals or when directed. Tests to include checking electrical power signals, loop signals and barrier raise/lower signals. Identify mechanical and electrical malfunctions established during tests and carry out repairs as required at the location of the machines. These include:
    • (a) Disconnect and remove the magnetic heads, realign and reconnect in situ.
      (b) Disconnect, remove and replace transport units.
      (c) Re-set or replace optical sensors and solder into place.
      (d) Check and re-set loop detectors, loop connectors and switches and replace when necessary.
      (e) Disconnect, remove and replace motors and gear boxes.
      (f) Correct barrier levels.
      (g) Clear transport jams and reset equipment.
      (h) Clear accumulator jams, clean validators and replace when necessary including complete installation of new coin validators.
      (i) Disconnect, remove and replace transport units including complete installation of new transport units.
      (j) Disconnect, remove and replace other items of equipment as required, e.g. contactors, printed circuit boards, fascia boards, fuses, relays, switches, etc. To include installation of any new complete units within each machine.
      (k) Disconnect and remove any defective localized wiring within any item of car park equipment and carry out the necessary re-wiring.
      (l) Log all faults, irregularities and remedial actions taken in the incident book.
      (m) Program and set all validators, install parameters for new coinage.
      (n) Maintain and repair Visi-link barriers system Daneshill House.
      (o) Refurbish cash box assemblies.
      (p) Provide bench testing platforms for routine repair and test of equipment prior to installation in the field.
  4. Extract statistical data from the Flexi-Park Computer System (FCMS – active system for recording events) and from Park Stats (stored data of events). To also apply to any similar replacement systems in the future.
  5. Carry out fault diagnosis and testing of Remote Data Concentrators (RDC’s) to ensure that the Local Area Network (the computerized communication system between control equipment, RDC’s and Central Control) is functioning correctly. To also include analyzing messages and clearing queuing information held in the RDC and ensuring that times on the RDC’s and individual machines are synchronized.
  6. Extract audit information as required from the central control computer using keyboard skills including Time Dump Audits (which includes statistical management information relating to number of transactions etc) as and when requested.
  7. Investigate all other faults not specifically listed as and when they occur and advise the Parking Services Manager or his representative of the likely cause of the fault. Isolate the fault and repair if possible or immediately refer to the Parking Services Manager.
  8. Carry out repairs in the workshop including:
    • (a) Strip gear boxes to replace shafts, bearings, seals, gaskets etc.
      (b) Replace motor brushes and reset speed of motor.
      (c) Check and adjust brake units, replacing the coil as necessary.
      (d) Check and set up transports, including replacing parts as required.
      (e) Strip and clean accumulators, replace validators, set up and check ready for re- use.
      (f) Repair barrier arms.
  9. To undertake monitoring of parking restrictions (e.g. time limit not exceeded) within other parking areas managed or controlled by the company by carrying out a specified number of site visits for collection of information and placement of warning notices where appropriate. To include maintaining a log of all vehicle registration numbers collected during site visits including times noted and to compare such numbers with those numbers and times recorded previously in order to identify persistent offenders.
  10. Carry out minor repairs and maintenance within car parks such as sign repairs, sign fixing and other minor metal and wood repairs (including forming, cutting within the workshop area and fixing on site).
  11. Report faults to and liaise with maintenance engineers as and when required.
  12. Monitor and respond to alarm situations registered on the central control computer or pump alarm panels. Respond to calls for help and enquiries from the public using the central control computer audio link, telephone or personal visits, deal with problems and give a caring service with assistance and advice.
  13. Check spare bolts and tools are available in barrier cabinets.
  14. Participate in emergency call out system as and when required.
  15. Carry out duties of the Central Control Operator when necessary, and any other duties as required by the Car Park Operations.

  1. Undertake any additional responsibilities as directed by the line manager commensurate with the level and grading for the role.

Financial

  • Ensure all cash and card payments if any are reconciled with reports at the end of shift.
  • To follow the company procedures for handling cash. 
  • Maintain sole responsibility in the exchange of cash between customers and yourself and be aware that missing cash shall be replaced and be out of pocket of the Valet Driver responsible.

Customer Services:

  •  Open the doors of the customer’s vehicle or the taxi in which they arrive at.
  •  Greet every customer by wishing them Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening in a professional way and with a good smile.
  •  Offer and assist the customer with luggage/bags/baby strollers form the vehicles.
  •  Assist every customer and provide them with the correct information, if you are unaware, recommend the customer to the supervisor or to the Customer Help Desk. 
  •  Always make sure that you are visible to guests and hotel staff, stay in the open area of the main entrance.
  •  If there is more than one vehicle, always attend the first vehicle in the first line & see how many guests have arrived so that you may know that more than one attendant is needed to open the cars’ doors, greet them humbly & professionally.
  •  Make sure that you are standing at the proper area to receive these guests and open their car doors promptly and professionally.
  •  Let the guests know where they need to approach with their vehicles.
  •  Ask for the key (Vehicle having remote keys) from the customer during receiving the vehicles.
  •  Be confident and polite while talking to the customers.
  •  Always Smile and be Friendly with the customers.

People:

  • To act as relief and cover for other Valet staff during periods of absence
  • To work effectively as part of a team

Expected Deliverables:

  • Delivery of all contractual requirements to the satisfaction of Zone and the Client

Discipline and body Language:

  • Stand at ½ meter away from the guests’ vehicles.
  • Respect the senior/Supervisor and maintain a good team work.
  • Inform before an hour to the supervisor in case of late arrival/Sickness.
  •  While standing in the main entrance, maintain your attention & interest around the work location. 
  • Cooperate with the supervisor and share ideas for improving valet operations.

Requirements

  • Required to wear a uniform 
  • Work schedules will include some evenings and weekends. 
  • Must have a valid driving license 
  • Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English.  

Qualifications:

  • Preferably High School Diploma 
  • Holding Valid UAE Driving License

Experience:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in parking management, construction or a related technology-based industry.
